Rumi

Your task is not to seek for love, but to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.

The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you. You must ask for what you really want. Don't go back to sleep.

Every moment I shape my destiny with a chisel, I am a carpenter of my own soul.

Speak little, learn the words of eternity. Go beyond your tangled thoughts and find the splendor of Paradise.

A heart filled with love is like a phoenix that no cage can imprison.

I searched for God and found only myself. I searched for myself and found only God.

Do a good deed and throw it in the river. One day it will come back to you in the desert.

You and I have spoken all these words but, for the way we have to go, words are no preparation. Only grace will get us ready.

I saw grief drinking a cup of sorrow and called out, 'It tastes sweet, does it not?' 'You've caught me,' grief answered, 'and you've ruined my business. How can I sell sorrow, when you know it's a blessing?'

Once you conquer your selfish self, all your darkness will change to Light.

There is nothing outside of yourself. Look within, Everything you want is there — you are That.

Love said to me, there is nothing that is not me.

Does a drop stay still in the ocean? Move with the entirety, and with the tiniest particular.

God turns you from one feeling to another and teaches by opposites, so that you will have two wings to fly, not one.

Peaceful is the one who's not concerned with having more or less. Unbound by name and fame, he is free from sorrow from the world and mostly from himself.

Cuando el mundo te pone de rodillas, estás en la posición perfecta para rezar.

If you find me not within you, you will never find me. For, I have been with you, from the beginning of me.

What you seek is seeking you.

When the lips are silent, the heart has a hundred tongues. Listen! Clam up your mouth and be silent like an oyster shell, for that tongue of yours is the enemy of the soul, my friend.

Although I may try to describe Love, when I experience it, I am speechless.

Now let me sit here, on the threshold of two worlds. Lost in the eloquence of silence.

Now be silent. Let the One who creates words speak. He made the door, He made the lock, He also made the key.

I looked in temples, churches & mosques. I found the Divine within my Heart.

The soul has been given its own ears to hear things the mind does not understand.

That which is false troubles the heart, but truth brings joyous tranquility.

You will learn by reading. But you will understand with love.

If I were the plaything of every thought, I would be a fool, not a wise man.

The wound is the place where the Light enters you.

Es tu camino y tuyo solamente. Otros pueden caminar contigo, pero nadie puede caminarlo por ti.
